rock chip in the windshield

I just got a rock chip in the windshield on the way home tonight. It looks like it is already starting to crack to the sides. I guess I'll call insurance tomorrow to see how much it's going to cost me.

Re: rock chip in the windshield

What really sucks is it is the original glass as far as I can tell. I hope I don't get stuck with some lame reproduction...

Re: rock chip in the windshield

How about those fix it kits Eastwood sells, supposed to fill in the crack. Diamond drill first, to stop the crack from going any further. Just a thought, don't do that often enough... J.
