Good shocks for a stock '70 Blazer???

What are some suggested top rated shocks for a stock 1970 Blazer that will be mainly on the street. I am looking for the best ride posssible. I was interested in Bilsteins, but I think I only found front shocks on one site and no rear shocks available for my application under their heavy duty series.

What are some of the best shocks available for my application that preferrably is the same brand name for both front and rear. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, that would be great. Stock #'s would also be a plus. Thanks for any help on this.

I would suggest the Rancho 9000X adjustable shocks. You can dial in the firmness you want and change them for such things as towing. They are noe cheap, but they do have a lifetime warranty with them.

I run Rancho's on mine. (5000). Even have blue boots to match the truck.

I am going to say that for a street-driven rig I would not recommend Rancho shocks at all. Adjustable or not, they were not designed for street use. I have run both 5ks and 9ks on my Nissan Frontier and neither damped road bumps as well as the OEM shocks. Big hits, off-road, no contest, get the Ranchos, I still run 5ks because it is basically a trail rig at this point. When I drive to and from the trails it is pretty evident that very little damping occurs for the small bumps...

For your Blazer I would go with a decent name-brand shock, a Monroe or a Gabriel and be done with it. I have Gabriel Load-Carrier (spring assist) shocks on the rear of mine and they work quite well.
