It Is Time!!!!!!!

okay, after weeks of screwin' around with the crappiest wiring I have ever seen in my life. I was putting around in my first project, but I got totally frustrated today trying to correct many problems that have happened over 40 years previous of me owning the truck for the last two months I started just ripping everything out. So I guess today is the start of my restoration project. would like to make ground up but will see how it goes. wish me luck I'm gonna need it because this is my first project ever and I ain't skeered!

ps. I will post pics later today of my progress

Re: It Is Time!!!!!!!

please my friend, if what i'm hearing is a total restoration frame off then take at least 100-200 pictures during disassembly of each part. done forget brake/gas lines, carb-gas pedal linkage, tranny, body parts etc......if it's just wire restoration i don't know if your wire set came with good diagrams. if not i have some pretty good diagrams i can post. i'm at my wiring stage of my restoration now. just ask and i'llpost them. good luck

Re: It Is Time!!!!!!!

Get the diagram if you can, and learn how to read it. This can be the make it or break it item, and just remember, electricity is lazy, it always takes the path of least resistance.

cost about twice as much as WD-40, but it will loosen anything.
