Parts parts and more parts
Back to top. Open to reasonable offers (I'm sure a lot of this stuff is overpriced, so let's talk turkey). Also open to trades. Need: (for 69 short step): pass inner fender, both outer fenders, cowl hood, grill (might be interested in 71-72 outer grill), drivers rear fender, front and rear chrome bumpers, other stuff I can't think if. Got to get rid of this stuff!
1. Front spindles from a 69, complete drum brakes. Nasty condition, but if you really need them a cleaning and brake job will get them working. $20 ? 2. 12 bolt truck five lug axle housing and axles. Good condition, somebody started to weld the tubes it looks like. I believe this is from a 71. Also, 2-3 of the wheel studs are missing. Bought this a while back and don't need it. Will throw in brand new Timken axle bearings $120 3. Complete 12 bolt truck carrier and pinion, need to check ration. Open carrier. $30 4. Complete 12 bolt truck factory posi carrier and 3.73 gears, pulled from my 69. Looks good if not a little dirty. $300 ? BTW this looks like an Eaton: 5. Pair of 69 fenders....really, really bad shape. Bottoms front and back are rusted thru, plenty of bondo on them, maybe good for small patches but I doubt it. Come get them for $10 (pair) before I scrap them! 6. Pair of white 6 lug wagon wheels. Not sure on size but they look like crap - do have OK offroad tires. They're the rears that came on my farm truck here: 7. Sliding rear glass from the truck in the pic, seems to be in great condition, no cracks or milkyness. $20? 8. Not yet available, but the truck in the pic came with a rebuilt 350. They said it was pretty much new and I was thinking yeah right...it ran ok but was stumbling because it had a Victor Jr. and a Holley 600 vac sec. I replaced the manifold with a Holley low rise intake and replace the valve covers, sure enough, you could eat off the insides of the motor, VERY clean. Heads even had a backyard portjob Something was leaking the few times I drove it before starting the chassis teardown, it's either the rear main seal or the tranny, not sure until I pull the engine. Sounded like it had a real mild cam, couldn't tell if it was much different than stock - I think this engine would be a great driver, just use it as is. I was going to save it so I could drive the truck while I built the new bad boy motor, but I already dove into the new one, so ... here's the info on the motor, will post casting numbers later today: 350 Holley alum. manifold (brand new gaskets and 12pt bolts), new chrome waterneck. Have a chrome pass side alt bracket (new) you can have with it if you want. M/T valve covers, been bead blasted, but pitted a bit, work fine, with new chrome oil cap. Harmonic balancer Does not include: Pulleys, headers, carb. I really don't know the going price for this kind of engine, maybe $600? 9. Blackjack headers, great fit, came on truck, painted orange (came like that, doesn't seem to be coming off any time soon). I don't think there's any dents or anything. Comes with reducers, but no bolts. $50 10. Turbo Tubes (Chambered glasspacks): The boneheads that did the "exhaust system" just had these clamped onto the header reducers, so they haven't been welded and don't look to have been used much. They did sound AWESOME. I think they're 2.25 or 2.5" but I'll have to check $40 for the pair. 11. 1972 SBC 400 balancer - great if you're using a factory 400 crank in your 350. Great shape. I have the crank too, but the motor threw a rod and I'm thinking the crank is dead. Should have it out of the motor within a few days. Let me know if interested. More parts to follow once I get home and remember what all I've got. I also have some new and used AR-15 and AK-47 parts if anybody needs gun stuff Have various stocks, mags, etc. Last edited by mplex2000; 08-30-2007 at 03:04 PM. |

Asking price is posted just below the description ($300)
Feel free to make offers. BUT - shipping is probably going to cost a lot from Texas. These things are heavy as I'm sure you know -Chris |

I'm looking for a Harmonic balancer for my SB 400. The one I have does not seem right. Do you have any pics, or is it 100% stock? Thanks! Frank
