Measurement or pic request

Does any one have a pic or measurement on where the rear bed crossmember hits the frame on a swb. I am wanting to know in the area where the rear tank would sit. Mine was a long box I chopped down or do the crossmembers in the back land in the same place as the lwb did? Thanks Mark

Re: Measurement or pic request

Mark,
I just went out and checked my shorty,
I got 3 3/8" to center of the rivet on the rear crossmember, on both DS and PS rails from the very end of the frame. I also just took a rough measurement on the gap between the rear crossmember and the next one up and it is just under 20"(center to center of crossmembers) on the PS and a little over 20 " on the DS. I hope this helps ...Randy

Randy, Thanks for measuring, but I was looking for the box crossmembers and where they land on the frame at the rear where you were measuring.

Re: Measurement or pic request

My bad, I missed the part about bed crossmember Any way I checked it out and the very end crossmember(back edge of floor) it starts right at the end of the rails and sticks out passed them for the most part, the next one going towards the cab is 12" on center from the end of the rails....Randy
