rearend question
i have a 67 swb stepside and supposedly the rear was from a 78 chevy 12bolt posi, it took a dump now i got another from 72' but leaf spring what would be need done with new rear to fit my 67 coil spring! any help would be appreciated

You would need to cut the leaf spring perches off, and either buy new trailing arm perches or cut the old ones off of the bad rear end and weld onto the new rear end. Also, if the new rear was from a leaf spring truck, it might not have the lug on the right side for the pan hard bar. If not, you will need to buy an adjustable pan hard bar that would run to the right side trailing arm like the one pictured below.
