BB motor mount ?

I have a bb with 72 only mounts and stands, but the frontend cross member is off a 72 that came with a sb, and the stands when set on the frame and cross member, there is only 3 of the four holes in the frame and cross member. Can I just line up the other 3 and drill the 4th hole in the cross member...... Thanks Jason

Re: BB motor mount ?

I mounted a BBC in my 72 using 73-87 SBC towers and it was a similar situation. I drilled the fourth hole and put a bolt through it, but I considered solid welding it to the x-member.

It should work fine either way
