The beds on 67-72 are actually several inches wider then the later model beds so the long bed will be a bit narrow for a 71.
Kevin, the Leer Short bed cover should fit your truck. It came off a 2000 short bed silverado. |

Does it have all the hardware. If so, consider it sold. I will just have to make arrangements to get there to get it. By Mapquest you are about 3 1/2 hours away.
