BBC P/S Pump Pics For John Fabris
Re: I am a little confused... can you explain what is different on my setup compared to the setup that you are selling? I pulled my from a 71 gmc longhorn with a 402 and A/C.... John
John, the first two pics show the P.S. pumps and how they are different on the upper support adj. bracket. The top pump is yours and the lower one is one that I had on the shelf with the correct upper bracket that mounts on the fwd. exhaust manifold bolt. The lower P/S brackets on both setups are correct, the upper bracket on your pump looks to be a modified/cutoff upper alternator bracket or something along those lines. The next two pics are of your pump from the top showing how bad the drive pulley (P/N 3925537DC) is bent in relation to the pump and shaft, the last pic is of a BBC P/S pump upper bracket support bracket by itself.
