old air vs vintage using factory non ac control
The old air kit uses the factory non heater control the vintage you can buy both ways. I like the Old air kit better but what drawbacks are ther not havin 3rd control/

Do you mean the non-A/C control - ie. the heater controller?

I've heard it sucks. You have no adjustment with the heat or A/C. It's either all the way on, or off. You can adjust the fan speed.

it looks like it has a water control valve, i think is missing the blend feature does any one have one

Blend feature works fine with heat, unless your heater control valve is stuck. Mine was stuck a while back, and I only had hot air unless I switched on the A/C.

I have a vintage kit that uses factory air controls. Best of both worlds. Love it.

The A/C switch kicks in when you move the temp control all the way to the left (cold), so you can't blend A/C air (i.e. can't have warm de-humidified air). But when I asked them if I could replace my heater control with an A/C control unit, they gave me a part number for it and for the cable control kit that goes with it. Give them a call or email, they're pretty responsive. BTW, it works great - I have a burb which is harder to cool and even on hot, muggy days it's comfortable in the front seat. Don't have middle or rear seats installed, so I don't know what it feels like back there.
