Just showing off a little

It's a work in progress, but I needed wheels and tires so I could get accurate measurements for future modifications.

So, it's picture time!

For the spec-curious:
3" spindles and airbags in front
Just 2 leaves in the rear (4-link and airbags on the way)
255/60R18 on 8.5 in front
285/60R18 on 10" in the rear

I've never seen tires so close to a fender edge..what size? most seemed tucked in, not these..

Good eye, sleepy. Here's the deal. The front hubs and spindles are from an '88 crew cab. Just swapping those in moved the tires outboard over an inch each side from the drum brake setup. So now with the wide tires and 5.25" backspacing the fronts are very close to the fenders. They do tuck in, but I don't plan on laying frame with this truck so it won't be a problem. I can still get full steering with the suspension compressed to about 1/2" from the bumpstops, so I'll just move the bumpstops and all should be well.

In the rear, the wheels have 4.5" backspacing so yea, they stick out too far. I have a new Dana 60 axle with disc brakes that's going in when I do the 4-link, and I'll shorten it about 1.5" on each side to get the rear tires where they should be.
