Re: New crate cab (ebay not mine)
Cool!I doubt they`re depleted stock, yet. They were produced through 2000.Good price, doors would be seperate item.I need to check my dealer on availability.Either way, that`s a great deal,I`m sure.Even with my discount.Oh,the doors don`t cost anywhere near $1,500.I got one for around $300.Can we trust this seller?

Re: New crate cab (ebay not mine)
There are two Ebay sellers in Wisconsin selling these crate cabs. I bought my crew cab from the other seller. And yes, they are genuine GM cabs. I even kept the crate tags to put in my scrapbook. They do come with the doors, and mine even came with the outside door handles with the locks and key, as well as an ignition tumbler with the key (check with the seller before you assume the same).
To get a good idea of the deal you're getting, go to gmpartsdepartment.com and look up the cab. I got mine from the Ebay seller for less than their asking price of $1500 (doors included), where the website I mentioned has them in stock for $6000 without doors. And they aren't damaged or anything like that. They had standard, extended and crews available, but the extended's were not the 3 or 4 door type. But still, I figured I'd have alot more than $1500 into repairing rust, damage and old paint had I went with a used cab. |
