Project 67 GMC
Here is my project it's been going on about a year now. Bought the truck from New Mexico only rust on this truck was a small spot on the driver side kick panel area. The under side was so clean I never seen a truck with no under coating just clean sheet metal. Over the past winter I cleaned and painted the frame rebuilt the front end with CPP parts and added 6 lug disc brakes 2 1/2 drop spindels, EC sway bar and 4" leaf springs in rear. Finally took it the body shop and had the stake pockets welded in and smoothed and some minor body work. Then I sent it to the paint shop had it painted Habinaro Red still needs to be polished out repro GMC chrome grille. Worked on the bed wood Chevy Duty (Classic Parts of America) red oak then about 10 coats of Varnish sanding the first 2 coats. This past weekend Joesjunk came by and picked up a engine fro a friend of his and helped me put the bed on that was a great help thanks Joe. I bolted it down and was having problem with the bolts near the tailgate area had to take off 1/16 around the counter sink hole and had to add more varnish . Oh well it all coming together. Need to get up to NE. to pickup my engine and tranny 402 BB 400th I think I'm going to keep it stock completely but will see. I have some Boydcoddington 6 lug Smoothies that will going on all four. Stock interior with buddy buckets and Vintage Air. Hope to be done by Spring. Oh well here are a few pictures this is no Tim Christian but I sure did get a lot of great Ideas from him.

Re: Project 67 GMC
Andrew ,Wow that is a nice rust free GMC. Nice detail on the wood floor and hardware with those colors. My 67 GMC Cab looks about the same. I also have some very nice original 67 GMC Custom pieces from mine that I won't be using when you come up. Mark

Re: Project 67 GMC
"NICE" I think the small window step is the ultimate in style. The small window just gives it an oldstyle cue as does the step bed.Finding one with that little rust sure makes a project easier.

Yep Yep! I love the rear small window, and no gawky government-mandated side markers!
