Talking Drove the truck for the first time ever

Yep,finally tied up all the loose ends on the 71,hooked the battery up,put in some gas and started it up.I have had the truck running since June but never had the truck together enough to safely move on it's own but tonight it did.I put it in reverse and the loud ( I mean real loud!) truck went in reverse and was out in the open,no longer constricted to the shop.It still is a long way from done but atleast it moves now...will probably get some pics tomorrow and maybe a video over the weekend of it.Man it sounds good I'm sure the neighboors love me too since it was running open headers at 9:30 PM

Re: Drove the truck for the first time ever

1969k10stepside...
Glad to see you get your truck back on the road. Getting your truck back on the open road gives one a natural high!! My truck has been sitting in the corn crib since I moved to Zanesville so it has been in hibernation except when 70cstjr takes it out for a drive. I plan on breathing new life into her this fall and by next summer I will be back on the road.
