Re: check out my new cupholder

Is that an original bench seat? I have never seen that color scheme before. It looks good.

I have a very similiar cupholder that is in my truck.

Re: check out my new cupholder

I read an article a few years ago that stated raising a child through college was a million plus dollars. Said something like 1.4 million. If that is true then those of us with those cup holder have the most EXPENSIVE cup holders on the planet, especially if you have two or more!

Money well spent none the less but pricey!

I've got one past college, one IN college and an 18 month old.. I never saw the first million, don't think I have a million and hope someday to make a million.... It's probably cheaper if you just let 'em eat off your plate... ahahhahahahahhaahaaaaaa

I can relate!

For a while my daughter was dragging around this bunny and play car seat. I had to take a picure of it

Re: check out my new cupholder

Not to rain on your parade, but booster seats with lap only belts are more dangerous than just the lap belt alone. I've done some extensive research on this as my 4 year old rides in my blazer. If your vehicle was equipped with only lap belts from the factory, it is exempt from any booster seat laws.

That being said, an infant or child seat is still recommended if your child stilll fits in them properly. This is the type with integrated seat belts that strap down to the seat with the factory belts. Just make sure the lap belt is snug and positioned properly over the pelvis, not the abdomen.

Sorry, but your cup holder has to go. If you don't believe me, call your local state police or check with the http://www.nhtsa.gov/. There are numerous articles online as well.
