Pics of Suede trucks
I recently saw a 72 chevy truck locally that had the suede look to it. I was told the guy mixed paint and primer to achieve this look. I thought it was cool, but thats just my .02* If anybody has pics of this look lets post them I'm thinking about doing it with my DD.

Re: Pics of Suede trucks
I read an article about it recently. Basically I think they were just talking about flat colored paint. Is this what you were looking at? If so, this company: http://www.tcpglobal.com/kustomshop/ksflatz.aspx sells a paint called Hot Rod Flatz that's available in a multitude of colors. Aslo there was a thread about flat paints not too long ago on this forum.

Re: Pics of Suede trucks
Didn't realize there was a thread on this already....did it include pics? I like the look, the truck I am refering too was a 72 chevy stepper with the medium blue suede and white top. It sat low to the ground and just looks awesome, everyone does a double take when it rolls by. I will try and post pics of it if I can get up with the owner. He live in Hendersonville, NC anyone else saw the truck? I would still like to see some pics.

You can see mine in my avatar and part of it in this pic. I need to roll it outside and get some shots of it.

Re: Pics of Suede trucks
Hot Rod Flatz is actually a satin finish. It looks like old paint, but uniform. There is a low sheen and you can wash it.It is also sealed, which most priners won`t do.Any paint shop can add a flattening agent to your favorite color. You can also add paint to DP90 to tint how you like.My painter always mixes paint with the primer on paint jobs.
