Rearend swap

I was at a cruise in last nght and a guy with a 65 C-10 installed an S10 rearend. He said it fits perfectly for the width and if you get the 4 wheel drive S10 2001 or later it has 377 posi ......
Has anyone else tried this???

Just did a quick search and came up with the S10 lug pattern being 5 on 4.75" like most cars, instead of our C10's 5 on 5
