3.07 gears with NV4500 ok or too low
i currently have 4.10 gears front and back (yes 4X4) with a 4 speed tranny; and want to switch over to lower gears and also mount a NV4500. will the 3.07 gears bogg me down with this new 5 speed tranny??

it will be ok unless you haul or tow heavy. 3.08 & sm465 is ok with sbc or bbc. good highway gears not so good in town gears

i would say either or but not both! i dont know your tire height but i wouldn't go any higher tha 3.73 with over drive and if you have tall tires stick with the 4.10s
