Dumb question, but if the truck going to be the same color as the truck? What kind of paint/clear?

i am useing urethane paint mixed with reducer and hardner . it's $200.00 a gal. it took a half of gallon to paint the frame and trans. crossmember. i didn't get a pic. of the crossmember yet.

i was suprized it took that much. i still have the trailling arms, ft. crossmember,a-arms and stuff to go.

i wire brushed it with a grinder and drill and then sanded it.

Looks great!

Now might be the time to consider putting some exhaust holes in the crossmember if your thinking about lowering it....

I just put an exhaust on and don't like it hanging down there all exposed, wish I had done it.
