Re: protect-o-plate?
When you take it in for warranty service, you'll need that Protect-O-Plate.

Re: protect-o-plate?
thry used in a machine like for the old credit cards, you place it on a paper, and the paper has layers of carbon paper, then slide the lever on the machine, and it would put the owner's name, and the vehicle's info on the papers. This way they could track it in the waranty and repars it's had.
I can't even imagine the paper work they had before computers. |

Re: protect-o-plate?
Neat to have. Highly valued in Vette circles. Documentation like this never hurt the sale of a vehicle that I'm aware of. As one fellow member said bragging rights.
esll.

Re: protect-o-plate?
There was a guy on here that linked me to a chevelle site. I honestly can't remember the site, and can't find the thread. I suck with searches on here... I can type in the name of the thread, and it won't find it... but if you tried a search on protectoplate, you may find it on here.
