Gauge testing
How can I check to see if my idiot lights are working and connected???

With the ignition on and engine not running, the idiot lights should be lit. They should go out when the engine is running.

Fred, they do NOT light up at all. What is my next step?

1. Be sure bulbs are good (sounds stupid, but it happens!)
2. Ground oil sender wire at block, light should light (I may have that backwards, you may have to un-ground it) 3. Check 2 4 amy small fuses, one at battery, one at firewall, they blow real easily, always disconnect battery if messing under dash) If these steps don't work, call back!
