Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
Well, I just got my new tires BF 245-40-20 front and 295-40-20 back, but no wheels... I know that I am putting 20x8.5 on the front and 20x9.5 or 10" on the back.
So I have found 5 wheels that are bad a$$, but I can not make my mind up. So let me have it. What do you all think? 1) is Boyd Coddington Dictator 2) is BOZE Forged ZE Shifter - Luster 3) is Budnik Famosa 4) is Billet Specialties Soft Lip Vintec Dish 5) is Billet Specialties Vintec Thanks, Trav

I vote for 1 or 5 . My friend has the Boyds on his Malibu and they look great in person . Frank

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
#2 looks good but I can tell you from experience you will HATE those rivets in about 10 minutes. Having had a set of original Boyd 3 piece wheels that had protruding bolt heads, I will NEVER do that again.
The Vin-Tec and Famosa are the same wheel so there no real difference there. What you have to decide is do you want exposed lugs or covered. Exposed lug=Boyd Dictator Covered lug= VinTec SL

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
I don't know if the deal is done, but I recently heard Boyd had sold his wheel division...again.
If you decide on the VinTec's let me know.

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
Ken , are you looking to sell or do you have a good source for them . If they might be for sale , keep me in mind as you know I have always liked your wheel setup since they are not softlip . Frank

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
Not one of your selections, but Intros have a quality product similar to your choices:
Although, not twenties or soft lip, here's a pic of 17" Vintec's Dishes on a pre-80s style.

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
OT.
I came across it in the parking lot of the Goodguys event a couple of years ago. Very well done. Geez, I think I spent as much time checking it out than the rods inside the gates. I even had the parking lot security nervous.

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
Well it's down to Billet Specialties Soft Lip Vintec Dish and Billet Specialties Vintec. I pushing myself to the Soft Lip because it comes in 20x10 and the Vintec on comes in 20x9.5.
But one good thing I can get this with the wheels..

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels????
I am sure either will look good on your Blazer . One thing to consider . How much lip will be left on the front wheels if you run the Vin tec dish . The center of the wheel bells outwards from the lugs to where it meets the wheel hoop but you will need enough backspacing to keep it under the wheelwell .I would look into how much lip will be there . It might make the wheel face look flat . Frank
