check out this 1961 Chevrolet Apache stepside shorty
ok so seeing as how i am always needing a truck in some way shape or form to go get certain parts and other odds and ends and i am tired of fubaring my 93 ford probe i have decided to get another truck. so i found this on craigslist:http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/car/472281634.html
let me know what you guys think. the guy said that the clutch slave cylinder leeks slowly. how hard is that to change out?? and he says that he adds about a half a cup of brake fluid a week. but i don't think that would be too big of a problem though. |

Looks pretty good. The slave cylinder is pretty easy to change, not that expensive of a part either. Pretty much take the fluid line off unbolt it from bellhousing and reverse the process. Last but not least, make sure you bleed the clutch.

Looks like a workable truck to me. Sometimes when you bleed a clutch slave they are a PITA. If you have problems with it, unbolt it from the bellhousing and let it hang straight up and down with the bleeder at the top. This helps to get the air out.
