Mud Flaps - what to use ? Suggestions ?
Winter's coming up and hate to drive in the snow and salt, but some good mud flaps would help. Anyone have some suggestions for something that fits the 67-72 truck well, front and back ? Some pictures would be helpful too. Thanks.

To be honest mud flaps IMHO don't look good and create a home for rust. My advice is to wash your truck more often and get the road salt and sand off your vehicle and out of your wheel well's.

I have mudflaps on my 67 gmc and they look fine. I went to the gmc dealership and got brandnew flaps for a newer model truck, I used the front flaps for the front and rear, the rear ones were kind of large.$13.00. sorry no pics

Re: Mud Flaps - what to use ? Suggestions ?
I got some "back off flaps" out back. They protect trailers, but not my truck. Up front, I have a pair of chevy embem car size flaps. I would suggest you cut the fap so that it doesn't hold more snow than your fender already does. After it is attached, scribe a line that follows the fender lip, and then remove and cut away the excess. That way you aren't creating a salt trap.

Hang the flaps from a short length of chain or cable like dump trucks and logging rigs. That way they don't hold snow, and they can move aside when thy hit something.

No idea where they came from, but they work and don't look all that bad!
