Stock style stereo w/MP3 connection
Have any of you guys added a stock style stereo to your trucks. Mine still has the radio delete plate on it and I really don't know what is beneath the plate but I am assuming it is has the cutout for a stock style stereo. Any info will be apreciated. I have found some one who sells new decks on Ebay but was unsure of the quality. Also, where do you put the antenna when you install one, do you just hide it beneath the dash or behind the seat?

Re: Stock style stereo w/MP3 connection
You will have the radio "cut out" behind the plate. You can do a complete hidden audio set up and yes you can do a hidden antenna. They make them specific for that purpose. I guesss you could hide it behind the seat as well, for now mine is laying in the seat..The decks that fit in the factory hole are decent at best, I would buy a reciever with a remote and hide it in the glove box or something. My truck dash was already cut so I just slid in a CD player and filled the 6x9 holes in the doors with speakers.

Re: Stock style stereo w/MP3 connection
I've bought some older 2 knob radios off ebay, alpine, pioneer etc. The new 2 knob radios are junk. You need about a 1985 Alpine. good luck though they are not cheap.
