I guess it will be tough to get a pair of black and gold California plates

I've been watching this auction to see what a really nice pair of black and gold plates would sell for. Well I'm shocked, ouch

Hit the Pomona Auction. There is a guy out there with some nice stock, but very expensive. I'm not sure you can even use them though with CA laws.

Re: I guess it will be tough to get a pair of black and gold California plates

I remember seeing a guy at GoodGuys that sold license plates. I plan on going on Sunday, and will look for him. I hope he will have a really nice set. I would imagine that the price for that style of plate will go up, since that bill was past. So I better find a set soon.

Just keep your eyes open and hit some swap meets. You can find them a lot cheeper that rediculas price. I collect vintage tags, the most I paid was $125.00 for a set of 1939 Hawaii.
