The small block cable set-up did not wotk for me so I too am looking for a different set-up I may go back to the lokar set-up/..

The small block/ big block cable should be the same part. According to GM catalog I have they have V8 cable, a 4X4 Cable and the 6Cyl cable , no difference in sb and bb and they are still available from GM- $24.04 Modern Chevrolet, Winston-Salem NC.

Stock as a rock cable snaps right on.

Just have to have the right ball fitting on the carb.

It's SUPER simple....and works.
