Tru- Ram manifolds

Anyone tried them on our trucks? Curious if they would clear everything on a 4x4.

Re: Tru- Ram manifolds

I just had to stop dead in my tracks and do a post on this. These are drop dead gorgious!!! I can see these on an old hot rod like a 32 ford or a 50's ride. Never seen them on our trucks .... never seen them before to tell you the truth.

esll.

Re: Tru- Ram manifolds

You're right. They would look great on a showcar like a roadster. I wonder how long the chrome will last before it starts to turn colors?

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Tru- Ram manifolds

Do they offer a mandrel-bent head pipe to complete the package.I love these, too. But,that`s what I`d want to sway me from headers.

Re: Tru- Ram manifolds

I asked the same question about these a few weeks ago. Not sure they'll fit though... I think our manifolds need to angle back and can't come straight down in the middle like these.

If someone has these installed, please speak up

Re: Tru- Ram manifolds

I'm not sure about these manifolds specifically, but the straight cast ramhorns will fit. I have the 3" Corvette ramhorns on my 77 Cheyenne.

Re: Tru- Ram manifolds

Surely somebody has tried these! If not, I'll be trying them next spring when I have the coin. I want to get rid of the crappy headers on the '68 K10, and thought these would look sweet & flow decent. Speedway is 1/2 hour away from where the truck is kept at my dads, so it would be a short trip to return them if they don't fit.

N2TRUX, thanks for the info. I've always wondered if ram horns work on '73- up.

cast iron headers

On the thread below I showed these manifolds along with Sanderson's cast iron header (keep things quieter)...
Sanderson doesn't recommend this type header for small block. Hopefully someone will take the chance and let us know
