67 CST Hard Loaded from sameyrasmea72

Check this out, I've just spoken with same's dad about purchasing the 67 cst from west texas that was offered last week. We're going to meet somewhere in colo. or kansas next weekend, weather permitting, to do the transfer! I'm so happy this is going this way! I don't know how to put all the smiles etc. in this post, but I'm one tickled guy right now. Sure hope the weather holds. nofords.

Sounds like fun, make sure you have the picture posting routine down by the time you get back.

Good for you on the red one. Small world as I bought the sister 67 CST from him last spring and it is home here in Nebraska too. I got a black with red buddy bucket truck with the 327 turbo 400 air. It is about rustfree as can be for the age. Pictures when you get it home.

Hey Nofords, does he have any 68 Chevy or any GMC fenders passenger side, I also need a 67-68 Hood? You could drop it off on way through if you came this way.

Re: 67 CST Hard Loaded from sameyrasmea72

Looking foward to meeting you in a couple days. I think I will come along just for the ride, There is not much I can do with a broke foot. I guess I can HUNT for more trucks along the way, that's always fun to do!

I think you will be very pleased with the truck. MY dad and I are really 72 guys and we are working on my project, but my dad mentioned several times that he would like to restore this 67 for himself because it would be very hard to find another one in this shape with these options.

If you get a chance call my Dad and let him know for sure when we need to head that way. Thanks Jason

I am glad this truck will eventually be given new life. I'm always glad to see these trucks put back on the road. Keep us posted with pics.

Re: 67 CST Hard Loaded from sameyrasmea72

Jason; We made it home in great shape ( thanks Special K). The old target master purred like a tomcat, almost 12mpg loaded and running 55-60 most of the time. 5:00 AM to 10:15PM start to finish, and we even beat the weather! Great meeting you and Paul, the 67 is perfect. Anyone out there looking for decent old iron, see these guys. Honest and very accomodating, even by my standardsLOL. Fran
