Added 2 more swb's to the family.
Well im in possesion of one of them now, the other i should have here by late december or early january. They are both no engine no tranny just how i like them.
This 68 is in pretty good shape minus the bed... sometimes i wonder what people are thinking (they cut out round backup lights and there is dents EVERYWHERE) luckily i happen to have a spare bed lying around to swap it out. Im thinking ill get around to this one someday and fix it up. Also he included a uncut dash i need to swap in, see for yourself... the front clip is actually off a c20 because i had him trade it for the bashed up one that was on there. The other truck is a 69' swb with a PERFECT cab, and i do mean PERFECT! the bed is in great shape (factory wood is gone of course) aside from some rust issues on the wheel arches ( i can fix). But at least its real straight. All i have today is pics of the 68' but ill have the 69' up as soon as it gets here. Here is the kicker. He wanted 1400 for the 68' and 2500 for the 69', i got em both for $2,500

Re: Added 2 more swb's to the family.
Ya i was surprised the cab floor wasnt see thru for sittin in a field for so long. The 68 is going to be a nice in town driver (gas hog) and the 69 im going for a nice daily driver, FI with a 5 speed.
Im pretty open at this point but it will be fun doing them both at the same time.

Nice purchase. With a little work that '68 will make a nice driver.

Re: Added 2 more swb's to the family.
Jeez, that's cool. If I was single, and had a little space, I would be greedy with those too. I especially love the '68's. I'm jealous.

Re: Added 2 more swb's to the family.
A Blazer,3 SWB's, a Ghia, a Falcon Ranchero,a Scout,a Dune buggy(?) and 2 travel trailers are visible in those pics.Do you need more projects? How many is too many? You Can't have too many projects but it looks like you may run into the typical too little room problem. Are you looking for more space yet!?!?!?
