lokar wiring

I conducted a search but still cannot find what I am looking for. I have my lokar transmission kickdown installed but I need to run the 12V source. Fro those that have it, what gauge wire did you use and where exactly did you connect it for your source? Fusebox?

Thanks for helping me out!
Mike

Re: lokar wiring

I have the kit from Ron Francis nd I believe they all ork pretty much the same. I simply used one of he slide on connections on the fuse panel to give it twelve volts and grounded mine to the pan.

Re: lokar wiring

thanks jkaylor....the previous owner(s) were a little creative on my under dash harness. I have been trying to work the bugs out and get it looking better.

It has a push button start so I need to reconnect my new ignition switch. Also just to the left of the original fuse box is a "fuse panel" but it doesnt look like anything is hooked up. I guess I will pick a spot and connect the wire to a 12V source and see if it works.

Do you think 12 gauge wire would work? Directions indicate it only needs a 5 amp source.
