Window Trim
How difficult is it to remove the stainless trim on the front and rear windows of a 71? I found a used to be really nice Cheyenne in a Junkyard and was going to attempt removal when the weather clears.
Also, what about the gasket...I would assume the gasket is different than a plain non-stainless gasket. If it is in good condition...should I attempt to save it? Thanks, Alan |

Re: Window Trim
The rubber gasket's are differant. If it's been sitting awhile I would buy a new set of gaskets. I'm redoing mine now after the paint job. It's almost impossible to get one out without tearing up the gasket. You can take some Mother's cleaner to the S/S trim and it will look nice.
