TOTM - December 2007
Going to start a bit early this month for our Truck of the Month (TOTM) so that our winner will be crowned before the holidays. This month's theme is going to be our
Sleds! This month our theme will focus on our low riders or sled rides. • Open to all year board vehicles; Trucks, Blazers, Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, and Jimmys. • It must be together and able to move on its own power. It does not have to be licensed for street use. • If a truck has won a TOTM already in 2006 or 2007, you are ineligible. If you were nominated but were not selected as a TOTM winner then you may be nominated and compete in this month's category. To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. Just add the nomination to this thread. We will need a picture or two of the nominee vehicle, the owner’s board name, and any of the basics specs (year, engine/drive train specs) you or your nominee wish to provide. Nominees will be accepted through Thursday, December 13. If additional information is needed, then I will PM the first 15 nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they haven’t already been provided. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing them for the board. We will then put together a Poll Thread and announce it here on the General Discussion Board for the voting. The Poll will start to run on Saturday December 15 and will run till the morning of December 22. The official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of December 22. The announcement of this month’s TOTM will be posted through the General Discussion Board area. So whether it be sun or shine, polish up the rails and break out the sleds. It's time for a multi-horse (powered) ride!

I nominate 71see10 and his 71 C10! It's a mild drop but she's still sweet! He's running ECE 2.5" dropped spindles up front and 5" drop coils out back. Wheels are Centerline Retros.

Re: TOTM - December 2007
Mine probably isn't as nice or low and is a work truck but I will throw it in. I feel the truck has come a long way since I picked it up.

Re: TOTM - December 2007
What is considered a "sled"? Ive always thought of a slammed vehicle with lots of body mods. Not picking, just wondering...

Re: TOTM - December 2007
Oh, I wouldn't be so sure... You put a ton of work into your truck and it is way cool the way it sits. And remember, someone nominated you... The last two owners had to nominate themselves .

Re: TOTM - December 2007
C-10 Driver, that's a sweet truck; now just add a 3rd door and a long roof and you have my 'burb...just a whole bunch nicer.
Maybe I'll get a chance to see your truck this summer; I have to go to Kelowna for a wedding and want to take my 'burb, if I get a new motor dropped in. This is going to be another hard decision, with all of the quality choices! Frizzle, anyone that has read your build thread, will realize how much effort has gone into your truck, and the respect for that will get you alot of votes. |

Re: TOTM - December 2007
Well, I hate to do it but I'll put my truck in. I couldn't resist... c10addict's red and my green make an excellent Christmas combination.

Re: TOTM - December 2007
Thanks corn. I can't take total credit for it... I got the idea from c10addict as you may have figured out. His bright red truck looks great against the fall leaves also.
