WIW?? 1970 burb...
Hey A friend of mine wants me to sell his old suburban for him...I just have no idea what its worth? pls chime in and let me know what u think...Its all there, doors are in good, minimal rust shape..all floors are solid. I lifted the mats and carpet and didnt see any swiss cheese style rust. Engine is 350 suposedly it runs just needs some timing work. Tires are good..and both seats are in there. Body seems pretty straight, minimal dents and scratches. anyways, lemme know! thanks! [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Looks very solid! I'm a poor judge of price, but it might help to clarify a few more points--looks to be an automatic with the lift gate?

Re: WIW?? 1970 burb...
you know it is supposed to almost run... would it be drivable? Is the tranny any good. The pics look great to a rust belt guy, but the truck doesn't look all that apealiong to most others...eap with all the crap on it.
He can't expect to get a lot out of it if it doesn't run and has crap growing on it. |

Re: WIW?? 1970 burb...
Hatch and gate look shot, very hard to find decent ones. I dont see much in the way of options. Does it run? Going to take some coin to get it back to the mainland via the ferry. All stuff to take into consideration...This is just me talking...I wouldn't give more than a couple hundred bucks for it because by the time I got it home with time, gas, ferry trip, etc etc it would be closer to 500 bucks I would be into it.

Re: WIW?? 1970 burb...
IMHO I'm thinking between $500 and $1000 dollars . It just takes one guy that wants that particular truck ,any truck not running is a hard sell for top dollar . He may make more money parting it unfortunately.

Re: WIW?? 1970 burb...
I second the 500-1000. Get it running, driving, good tires, etc etc, then maybe 1500? I'd like to have it but WA is too far away, so basically you'll be selling to someone in WA or someone from the east coast either way running and driving is almost a must. Good Luck

Re: WIW?? 1970 burb...
750 as is, maybe. More if it was in drivable shape --- less if it costs serious coin to get it the mainland
