a quick question about springs
this is silly.. but I need to know.. can the hood latch springs be replaced? and can the hood latch be broken down? I am about to go get it powder coated and cant find a way to take it apart w/o breaking something. the springs defiantley need replacing, thick heavy rust on them..

Is there a spring on the latch ? I only have them on the hinges

theres 2 springs on this 1 to pull the little latch back when you release, and one for the part you put your hand on. Both of these would need replacing. .I'm not restoring this truck and then having one of these break
I can't figure out how to take the assembly apart. |
