Kenny's Trucks?

Anyone know what's going on down there in Ok? I tried ordering some parts today but no one is answering the phone and their website is down again. I hope all is well, they're such nice people and I enjoy chatting and leaving my money with them every year at the big Denver swap meet in Feb.

Yeah, it'll be until the end of this week before there is much improvement in the area.

Re: Kenny's Trucks?

Gotta love those midwest ice storms. Wish I could have gotten my folks generator wired into their house before this happened. They haven't lost power yet though...Good luck Tulsa!!

Re: Kenny's Trucks?

My order is late too. I called them about 10 times yesterday, increasingly angry each time at no answer till I remembered that the ice storm knocked out their phones and electricity.

Re: Kenny's Trucks?

If you ain't never been through such an event as they're having in OKC, you would not believe how frustrating it is to be the one who is living without the electricity, or heat, or both, or water.

We had the same type of event, here in Arkansas back in Dec. 2000/Jan 2001. Whether or not your electricity came on was based on who you knew at the utility department. I witnessed the crews repairing the power line to ONE house, while there were whole entire subdivisions that could have been repaired just as easily. Of course, it could be that the occupants were invalids and had no other options but to stay in the house. The men and women who are doing that repair are heroes to those who are waiting on them. But all that ice and damage will be a couple of years in getting fixed. I still have two trees on adjoining property that have not been removed. Not my land. Not in anyone's way. Not affecting anything. It's just wooded land.

I can guaranty you that the businesses that are unable to function are more upset than you are.

Re: Kenny's Trucks?

i'm from oklahoma city area and find kenny and his staff to be the best around. I'll never buy from classic chevrolet here in okc again because of bad experiences every time i go there. Kenny's always had what i needed, and very nice to deal with.
