Sway bar questions/Chassis pics

Anyone have problems with hole misalignment on an ECE sway bar, when using 73-87 lower a-arms? Mine are off almost an inch to one side, also the ends of the sway bar protrudes too far past the bushings towards the bags and looks as if they will rub holes in the bags over time. I called ECE and they said to cycle the suspension all the way up and down to determine how much to cut off the ends of the bars so as to not cut too much off and them slip out of the bushings at full lift, and to center the bar up on the frame and drill new holes on each arms. Just wondering if any of you guys have had similair problems or if a 73-87 sway bar would fit with no modification (no cutting the bar ends). Oh and I threw in a couple shots of my chassis for you guys.

I had to cut 1" from the ends of my 73-87 1.25" bar.

Re: Sway bar questions/Chassis pics

Thanks guys I appreciate it. So I take it that no one has had any problems with hole misalignment when using the later model A-arms? You guys think I'll be alright just centering the bar up and drilling new holes on the arms? Oh and heres a few more pics of my frame.
