Picked up a new truck
I bought a truck today just because the bed and tailgate were very nice. It needs a new carb and battery I was told, not sure what else to make it run. I may just use it as a parts truck. The drivers side rocker has some rust. It still has the glove box I.D plate in it.

Re: Picked up a new truck
I am going to see if it will run, kind of hate to part it out as it looks to be a pretty original 3/4 ton truck.

Re: Picked up a new truck
What is that option YK2 tool and stowage box? Is that the box in the side of the bed? I see it is a diffrent bed if it was.

Re: Picked up a new truck
The bed was probably changed as no door on the side of the bed or storage that I can see. It also shows an auxillary tank and has the lines and switch for it but no extra tank .

Re: Picked up a new truck
That truck is WAYYYYY to nice to be a parts truck. If she runs, keep her the way she is!

Re: Picked up a new truck
Yeah, the rust issue with the rockers qualifies it as "cherry" here in AR.

Re: Picked up a new truck
I looked under the truck today and it looks pretty solid from the bottom. I am going to see if the engine will run today but if not then I am going to part it out as I don't need another truck in my corral.
