Need advise/information on '71 stepside - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm putting the finishing touches on the paintwork of my stepside. I have a few questions, hoping someone can help me out here.

- What color was the license plate frame for the rear bumper-black or silver?

- Were the bed frame supports (cross sills) black, or the color of the body?

- Were the hoods, underneath side, painted black or the color of the body? I've seen them repainted both ways.

License plate housing is silver
Cross sills are body color
Underhood is black

The underhood on all of mine have been bodycolored, other than that what K said applies.
