Yeah you and me, I am going to run them but I need to know the sidewall height so I can pick out me a front tire. I don't want more sidewall on the front than I have on the rear.

315mm x 35%= sidewall in mm. then convert to inches.

Re: Anyone with a mounted 315/35/20???

That tire is 28.68" tall. For a 20" front, use a 255/40-20 = 28.03" tall. For an 18" wheel 255/40-18 will be 26.03...

Now that is helpful info, I usually go to tire rack and enter the size and waste a bunch of time looking throught the tire specs but that is fast.
Thanks

Re: Anyone with a mounted 315/35/20???

The bad part is now finding a front tire to match the rear. I can get toyo proxes s/t in a 315 for $206 a piece but they don't have that tread in the 255.

They list a 255/40-20 in the same product line stats.....
http://www.toyo.com/docs/tires/tires...=lgt-suv-truck

A 315 isn't going to fit stock tubs on an 11" + wide wheel unless the truck isn't real low & the outer edge of the tire sits flush w/the fender lip (so no tuckin' tire). 295's on 10's would work w/the right BS, tight suspension, & consistent body-panel/chassis gapping.

Scoti, I was looking for a 18" front tire but they are real expensive if you try to get a matching set in 18 and 20's. Fot the price of tires may have to go 20 and 20. I was just trying to use the 18x10 grey spokes my brother has but that may not work and I have to buy 4 wheels instead of 2. Thanks for looking for me though.

Re: Anyone with a mounted 315/35/20???

I run a 315/35/20 on the rear and a 245/40/20 up front. The front is just a hair shorter. The Treads dont match but it does bother me.
They are on my 86' with 12" wide wheels they fit with very little trimming.

I'm planning on running this size of tire too. Did you have to modifiy the wheel wells to get them to fit?

I am going to run tubs like the ones below, they are going to be real tight in a stock tub and the backspacing on the wheels would have to be dead on and they still might not work. I know the 295/40/20 is about as big as I want to go with a stock tub.

I didn't think they'd fit in te stock tubs.

I'm going to splice 2 tubs together to get an extra inch or 2.

I am pretty sure a 315 won't since a 295 barley does.

Re: Anyone with a mounted 315/35/20???

Here is the tire size calculator that i use. It is the best one yet. You can compare two size of tires. It even tells you the difference the speedometer will be when you compare two tire sizes. From original to the new tire size. Its pretty sweet.

Josh

ps. That is a big A$$ tire but i bet it will look sweet
