Bag clearance when cutting lower cups?
I read alot of you guys are using top plates and cutting the lower bag cups down to an inch or so. Looks to me like cutting the cup down so much, the bag will rub on the LCA when aired out, at least mine would. Anybody got any pics of bag to arm contact when using such a low cup? Is touching when aired out not really a bad thing as long as there is no contact when aired up and driving? I'm running 77 front susupension on my 66.
Thanks

Re: Bag clearance when cutting lower cups?
I stayed at 1.5" w/ 73-87 LCAs. 1" cups had me rubbing at ride height at the inside edge and near the shock mount. Rubbing aired-out should cause you no problems...

As long as it rolls over on a smooth surface you will be fine. If there is an edge or a lip.... fix it.
