Long bed pics, my project

OK, after some members bustin' my butt (in a friendly way) here are 3 pics of what my truck looks like after a TON of work. Mind you these were taken late in the afternoon and I was freezing my ass off. Needless to say they ain't real good, but you all will get the idea. Painting is done, but the inside is still in the "taint" mode as in "taint" quite done yet. There are still some things nickle and dimeing me to death, but with what I have in it now I ain't going to stop now. When it's all done except washing and waxing I'll put up what I did and what I have into it. I'm sure there's going to be quite a few who mirror some of my friends comments concerning my mental stability or lack thereof. LOL. I KNOW I'm nuts, so, whats wrong with that? Enjoy, comments welcome. jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.

Re: Long bed pics, my project

Yup, she sits high to be sure. I used to be out in the woods with it drawing firewood and was always getting hung up so I put 1 ton springs in the front and 1.5 ton in the back. It's stiff to say the least. I'm going to take 5 or 6 leaves out of the back to get it level again. To danm cold to be working on it now. In 2 months the weather will break and I'll finish all the work. I've been at this for about 4 months now and put girlfriend on the shelf. I think I'll spend the next two months pampering her a bit if you get my drift.
