Need some info

I pulled my seats today getting ready to take the to get redone. What I found was conduit brackets holding the fron of my rear seat down ...I know that isn't right but what should be there?? Also when I pulled the drivers side bucket out it doesn't have anything connecting the left side to the right and isn't adjustable what should it look like? I will try and post a picture later

Re: Need some info

The front of the rear seat is held down from the factory with what appear to be heavy duty conduit brackets. There are a lot of pictures of them on the board.

Here's a thread with a good picture. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ht=blazer+hold

Yeppers, they can be had on Evil Bay and Here from time to time.
They are NOT reproduced at this time and run about $50-$100

Re: Need some info

Hey Hoss, I just pulled my factory buckets out Saturday in favor of some seats out of a 2004 Tahoe. I'll try to post some pics of the drivers seat tomorrow. BTW, what side of town are you on? Does your rig have superlift springs. How does it ride? Anyways, let me know.

Re: Need some info

I live in Northern Hills off of Nacadoshes (sp) , I'm not sure what lift I have but it rides rough but I'm sure the Mud TA's don't help much. I'm having me seats redone so I should be on the road in a week or two. That will give me the oppertunity to do some stuff inside I want.

Re: Need some info

I'm off of 410 and Ingram. I'm in the process of doing an engine swap. I've been buying a lot of parts for it lately. I hope to get it running soon. I need to buy a cherry picker to finish the motor swap. Hopefully by the end of Feb. it will be on the street. Mario.

Re: Need some info

You are missing the heavy wire that runs from the left side release to the right side release so that when you pull that lever, you also pull the locking pin on the other side. Works exactly like a regular bench seat.
