bbc, big/small hump question

My truck is a 70 gmc originally came wiht a 400/400 combo. It had a 350/350 combo when i got it. Now i just got done building my bbc and i am going to put it in this weekend. my question is will i have problems with the hump on the floor or something. I have heard different things on this.

also are the motor mounts different between the bbc and sbc. The small block ones will bolt on ok. just wondering.

thanks for any and all input.

Re: bbc, big/small hump question

you say 400/TH400... I'm assuming you mean 402 big block since the small block 400 never came in these trucks.
So you have a big block truck, and want to install a big block.
You'll be fine if you use the factory big block mounts and engine stands/towers.

Re: bbc, big/small hump question

Does anyone have any somewhat close up pics of the engine tower/frame/motor pics?

which 2 holes on the frame are for bb trucks?

Ive seen many types of towers and wanna see some people who have bb's in there truck already.

thanks

I don't have any pics, but you use the two front holes for a v-8. There are also 2 different big block mounts.
