HELP!!!!! Want to buy but is it worth it?

Hi all, am new to this site but have owned 68 and 72 chevy pick-ups in the past. Nothing compares. I am considering buying a 1972 K-20 Cheyenne Super but need to know some specifics like: Were the front axle and rear axles different makes?, What were the interior color options for a red/white/red paint scheme? Thanks in advance..................Kevin

You could get a dana front and an eaton rear, normally dana front and dana rear, 44's in front and 60's in the rear. red white was available.
BTW
We love Pics

Welcome to the board from West Tennessee. I can't answer your question either but I'm sure someone will.

Re: HELP!!!!! Want to buy but is it worth it?

Thanks all. The truck that I am considering is supposedly a frame off restoration but i noticed red overspray on some of the frame, the dash in the truck is black and the A-posts are red and not white. Little stuff makes me wonder if it is worth the $17g that the guy wants for it.

Do you mean $17,000 with 3 zeros? That seems steep for having "little stuff that makes you wonder". Let's see some pics so we can make an informed decision. I might consider paying $17,000 for something that perfect but even then it seems high.
