Gas tank question
I am considering using either of these tanks for my 67 rebuild. Has anyone ever used them and if so how did the install go. If nobody has used them does anyone have any advise about the tanks or the vendor. This board has been a great source of inspiration for me and I appreciate all the experience and advice I've gotten. I am trying to keep costs down, and I can get either tank for about $215.

Re: Gas tank question
I am not a fan of the poly tanks, especially where it is warm. I haver seen and heard of the tanks warping bad. The tank is small your links point too.
You ever think of using the factory Blazer (or blazer replacement) tanks instead?

Re: Gas tank question
The rear frame rails are 27.5" apart behind the axle. I'm building my own tank this weekend and that's what one of my design parameters is/was. Hope this helps.
