New bumper

See what everyone thinks. Bought a bumper for my 65. It was too muddy to get it out from the salvage yard, but I paid for it and can get it as soon as it dries out. It is from a 58 Buick Special. The one I bought will have to be rechromed, but I got it for a $100.00 with no damage or rust. The chrome is cracked, and I know will cost a bunch to replate, but a new one is over $1100.00 The top roll is very similar to the original truck's roll/position but that's where it ends. Wraps around the corners deeper as well. I will weld up the bolt holes and put studs in back to mount it. I hope it will look as well as I think it will look...I just wanted something different, being as this truck isn't original to start with. I found these pics on ebay of what it looks like. Jerry

Re: New bumper

Just the front bumper. The truck is a 1 ton flatbed.

Re: New bumper

I dig it. It has similar lines to this one, but in one piece. You might be onto something. Nice choice.
