... Especially on a nice 2wd. I cant wait until the black wheel thing is over they look so goofy to me, its like wearing army boots and shorts or something? Anyway just my opinion.

no, what looks stupid is when they have a chrome or polished lip like they all come now. when black rims first came out, they were all black and that made them look good. But there is something about that outer lip that jacks it all up when it is not black.

Some trucks can pull it off, others can't. I wouldn't worry about it too much. One thing nice about rims, they aren't permanent at all. Infact, it's one mod done to any truck that can be easily removed.

I hate chrome. Silver and gray are just too common. I'd love a nice set of black rims like these here from American Racing....

Or better yet if I could find some highly polished copper colored wheels, that would be even greater!!!

i like the chevrolet rallye wheels with the chrome beauty ring and center painted black on the rim those look great some black rims are overdone and not wonderful looking but that an be said for chrome or anything else for that matter

I actually like the black wheel. Why! Less cleaning and polishing!

I want to paint my truck a sating black with black wheels.

Spray it off with a water hose and be done.

Some people enjoy waxing and washing there paint and polishing there wheels every day... NOT ME!

I even ripped out the carpet and replaced it with Poly Vinyl because the carpet gets too dirty.

To each there own... Laterz!

Iv'e said this from the start of this whole black rim craze i think it gives the illusion that the vehicle there installed on is dirty whether it is or not.

Any one that want's them can save some big bux by just spray painting there bright polished billet wheels with a can of $0.98 wally world flat black or glossy if flat ain't your thing.

The only problem with this solution is you have to actually go in a Wally world to get the paint.........I swore that place off a long time ago and I will NEVER go in one again!!!!!

Ill have to do the $1.25 Home Depot paint I guess!!!

Yeah I agree some what. I think theres way too many vehicles with the black wheels and they don't look good like that. Certain vehicles actually look awesome with them.

Rims can make or break the look your after, as was said some can pull off the black rim look , others fail.

Not a fan of black wheels myself, unless they are on a 50's or older vehicle with hubcaps, wide whites, and maybe trim rings.

Don't care for the big wheel trend either, some of them are beginning to look just plain cartoon-ish.

sory guys I hate painted wheels period.

When we got our 84 c10 the rallies were blue to match the truck, painted em silver first thing, makes em alot better IMo closer to just plan chrome or alum. ones.

Same with the 86 k10 we had they was black to match the truck. Painted em silver right off.
