Radiator on eBay- What do you all think?
I found this one the other day. It looks pretty decent for the money and the guy has a pretty good feedback score. What do you think?

If it was a 4 row I would buy one.

Re: Radiator on eBay- What do you all think?
i actually bought the first one listed a while back. it is decent...i had to cut the lower hose outlet because it was angled wrong, but seems to work for now. Needed a cheap replacement to get back on the road. thats about all i have to say about it.

Two rows of Alum cools better than a 4 row copper. The two rows are big ovals, not little narrow ovals so they are way more efficient than the old school copper $200 is a steal if you don't I will, then I'll buy the shroud from the secong guy and add it to this rad!!

Summit sells these for slightly cheaper without auto trans provisions. Just grab a trans cooler from a junk yard and run them both.

I thought the one summit sold was a one size fits all and you had to adapt it? I have bought two of them and they are pretty close to this price, but you need to make a mount for them as they are not the correct dimensions. I am going to buy one (not right now, but soon). |

Re: Radiator on eBay- What do you all think?
I just picked up an aluminum #369 radiator from a local radiator shop for $190, so check locally too.

Re: Radiator on eBay- What do you all think?
this is a great deal, thats why i bought it last summer. does better than my old 4row and looks nicer too... the only problem was it was about 1/4" bigger than stock where it fits into the rubber supports on the bottom... but it sits flush, and after a little finessing, that takes care of that problem!
go for it!!! |

Re: Radiator on eBay- What do you all think?
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm about to swap out my 3spd manual for a 700r4 and you all know how our projects wind getting bigger and bigger? Well that's what's happening here. My stock radiator is ok, not great, so I figure since I gotta put a trans cooler in now I might as well look for a new radiator to boot. Next thing you know, you got a new truck...
