Re: Rebuilt/Reman Motors in DFW area?
I put a long block in my '86 last winter. A 2.8L, V-6 from a company called Thunderbolt Engines out of Austin, TX. It cost me $900 and I got a $200 core exchange that just about covered the shipping. They were pretty much the only company I could find to supply a '86-'87 2.8L. GM disowned those two years. Hope it helps.
